Every year, hundreds of lithium coins are accidentally ingested by children. As devices such as remotes, games and key fobs become smaller, more lithium coin batteries are needed.

What we are doing to tackle this:

Our 2032, 2025 & 2016 lithium coins now have a ring-shaped layer of Bitrex, the bitterest substance in the world commonly used to prevent ingestion. The layer on our battery cell is non-toxic and completely harmless if consumed.
